Sound Start Speech Pathology provides quality assessment and therapy services for children of all ages with motor speech disorders such as Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Childhood Dysarthria and Speech Motor Delay.

ASSESSMENT SERVICES
We offer assessment services for:

Families wishing to receive therapy services at Sound Start Speech Pathology. Please note that all clients require an assessment to confirm the child's motor speech diagnosis, before therapy services will be offered.

Families who are unsure about their child's specific speech sound diagnosis

Families seeking a second opinion about their child's speech sound diagnosis or who would like a second opinion around the most suitable therapy goals or approaches for their child
THERAPY SERVICES
Therapy services are offered for children where a motor speech disorder is confirmed in their assessment appointment.
Therapy will use evidence-based approaches based on your child's specific diagnosis and needs. The approaches used will often change over time as your child's needs change. We will work with you to look at what best suits your child and your family for each therapy block.
Therapy may be offerred as regular sessions across a term, or as intensive blocks.
