FEES
We ask that payments be made on the day (private pay, NDIS self-managed, private health fund subsidised, or Medicare subsidised) or within 7 days for NDIS plan-managed clients.
Payment for sessions may be completed via credit/debit card (in clinic) or direct bank transfer.
Fees listed apply to all clients of Sound Start Speech Pathology (NDIS and non-NDIS clients)
ASSESSMENT FEES
STANDARD ASSESSMENT
$375
For children requiring detailed assessment of one main area of communication (i.e. Speech OR language)
Includes:
Face to face assessment consultations (up to 90 minutes)
Verbal feedback
Detailed assessment report including recommendations and goals.
COMPLEX ASSESSMENT
$475
For children requiring a diagnostic assessment of potential motor speech concerns (Childhood Apraxia of Speech or Childhood Dysarthria)
OR detailed assessment of multiple areas of communication (i.e. Speech and language, Speech and feeding),
Includes:

Face to face assessment consultations (up to 2 hours)

Verbal feedback

Detailed assessment report including recommendations and goals.
THERAPY FEES
THERAPY SESSIONS
Therapy sessions are typically 45 minutes in length. If you feel your child would benefit from shorter or longer sessions, please discuss this with Erin.
THERAPY FEES
Therapy fees include both direct time (i.e. time spent in the session with your child) as well as indirect fees (i.e. preparation for the session, writing notes etc). Indirect fees are higher for travel based sessions due to additional time needed for preparation and time spent communicating with families after the session.
Clinic Based Sessions:
60 minutes - $205
45 minutes - $155
30 minutes - $110
School / Preschool Based Sessions:
60 minutes - $240
45 minutes - $190
30 minutes - $145
Travel is also charged for time taken to travel to the session.
